Snow grip
Tires with the 3PMSF icon (three-peaked mountain and snowflake) have shorter braking distances on snowy roads, which improves safety in winter conditions. To receive the icon, a passenger car tire must pass a braking distance test on packed snow from a speed of 25 km/h or a friction force test. To receive the icon, a truck tire must pass an acceleration test.
