Safety and traction on wet roads and snow.
For winter driving, you need tyres that can perform in harsh weather conditions. The MICHELIN Alpin A4 winter tyre features Full Active Tread and Helio Compound for grip, stability and braking performance on wet roads, snow and ice. The optimised Contact Patch distributes tyre pressure more evenly for high levels of reactivity and control, helping to ensure the safety of you and your passengers.
M+S marking
A car tire marked with the M+S (mud and snow) symbol on the tire is suitable for poor driving conditions. An M+S tire is suitable for light snowfall and wet and muddy roads. As of December 1, 2024, the M+S marking will not be sufficient for winter tire use in Finland.
3PMSF marking (3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake)
The sidewall of all-season tires indicates that the tires can also be used in winter in countries where winter tires are mandatory. All-season tires with the 3PMSF marking are tires that can be used in different weather conditions. The tires combine the properties of winter tires and summer tires, meaning that the tires can be driven safely on dry or snowy roads.
EV-Ready
EV-ready confirms that the tire meets the requirements of electric vehicles, as well as cars with internal combustion or hybrid engines. EV-marked tires are optimized to provide exceptional performance for both electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
