Michelin Agilis Alpin
Description
Michelin Agilis Alpin EV-Marking (EV-ready) Winter Tire. Steel-Ring tires for snow, ice, and slushy roads.
This Michelin winter tire is designed to offer optimal performance for light trucks and utility vehicles in areas with heavy snowfall. Certified for winter use and with the 3PMSF marking, this tire provides excellent braking and acceleration on snow thanks to StabiliGrip technology: self-locking and variably shaped 3D sipes help stabilize both the tread and the tire itself. Additionally, the wide, square rubber contact area with wear-resistant rubber compounds maximizes the tire's contact with the road, ensuring a long lifespan. The reinforced structure allows the tire to withstand heavy loads and tough conditions.
EV-Marking (EV-ready)
EV compatibility confirms that the tire meets the requirements of electric vehicles, as well as vehicles with combustion or hybrid engines. All new and existing Goodyear tires are optimized to provide exceptional performance for electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and combustion engine vehicles. The new Goodyear EV-Ready logo, found on the sidewall of all new replacement tires starting early 2024, indicates this.
M+S Marking
The tire with the M+S (mud and snow) symbol is suitable for poor driving conditions. M+S tires are appropriate for light snowfall and wet, muddy roads. As of December 1, 2024, the M+S marking will not suffice for winter tire use in Finland.
3PMSF Marking (3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake)
The 3PMSF marking on all-season tires indicates that they can be used in countries where winter tires are mandatory. All-season tires with the 3PMSF marking are suitable for various weather conditions, combining the features of winter and summer tires, enabling safe driving on dry or snowy roads.
