M+S marking
A car tire marked with the M+S (mud and snow) symbol on the tire is suitable for poor driving conditions. An M+S tire is suitable for light snowfall and wet and muddy roads. As of December 1, 2024, the M+S marking will not be sufficient for winter tire use in Finland.

POR Certification (Professional Off Road)
The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tire stands out for its extreme off-road performance, benefiting from the POR (Professional Off-Road) rating, which means:
- Performance class up to Q.
- Minimum tread depth of 11 mm.
- The ratio of grooves to tread is at least 35%.
- This definition applies to C1 class (passenger/SUV) and C2 class (van) tires.
