Cooper
Cooper is an American company.
Cooper's beginnings can be traced back to 1914 in Akron, Ohio, when John F. Schaefer and Claude E. Hart founded a company to manufacture tire patches, tire cement, and tire repair kits. Schaefer and Hart bought The Giant Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, a tire refurbishment business, and soon after moved the business to Findlay, Ohio. In 1926, Ira J. Cooper developed the "Cooper Creed," which focused on providing "good merchandise, fair play, and a square deal." Ira J. Cooper's vision continues at Cooper even today.
